At CABEC, our goal is to support professionals like you, but your participation is also vital to that work!
Elections for the 2017-2019 CABEC Board of Directors are coming up, and there are four positions on the Board that will be filled in this election.
Whether you’re currently a CABEC Member or not, now is the time for you or someone you know to become more involved with CABEC and our industry — although one must be a CABEC Member to serve on its Board, you don’t have to be a Member (yet) to be nominated!
Nomination Period: October 21st – November 15th
Collection of Statements of Qualification: November 7th – 15th
Ballots Available: November 16th
Election Closes: December 1st
Announcement of Results: Second week in December
Those who are elected will serve as CABEC Board Members for a three year term.
At the present time, two in-person Board meetings are scheduled in 2017. The new CABEC Board of Directors will meet in person for the First Board Meeting in February of 2017. The second in person meeting will be done in September. The remainder of Board meetings will be conducted via telephone conference call.
