CABEC 2020 “Solving the Energy Puzzle” Conference Update re: COVID-19

CABEC will reschedule its 2020 Conference. Please find more information here.

As of now, the CABEC “Solving the Energy Puzzle” Conference is proceeding as scheduled on March 19 – 21, 2020. We have 200 attendees registered and 22 Sponsors and Exhibitors ready to educate all of our attendees.

CABEC is closely monitoring the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and following recommended precautionary measures, protocols, and guidelines from various health organizations, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We know you have questions and concerns about the upcoming CABEC Conference and would like to put your mind at ease as much as we can–your safety, security and well-being is our number one priority.

With all the news and attention regarding the coronavirus, please click here or scroll down to view a PDF entitled “Facts About COVID”.

The CABEC Conference is being held at the Temecula Creek Inn, which is a small, secluded local resort.  The conference is being held in an area of the venue where we are separated from most of the other guests and we will be the primary conference at the resort.

Temecula Creek Inn assures us that they are following the CDC guidelines and recommendations. In addition, they have implemented additional cleaning in the conference facility and will have hand sanitizers in all conference rooms. We ask that attendees practice basic protective measures against respiratory illnesses, including:

  • Refraining from handshakes (greet with a smile or bump elbows instead)
  • Washing your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  • Using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
  • Staying in your hotel or at home if sick

If you have any flu like symptoms, as always, we recommend that you do not come to the conference but instead stay home and feel better soon!

We recommend that you consult your physician to see what proactive measures you can take to boost your personal immune system during travel (get a lot of sleep, bring your own reusable water bottles, drink lots of water, take immune-supporting vitamins, etc.). For more information, visit the CDC website.

We are excited to see all of you! We encourage you to get some rest, make sure you are healthy and get ready to have a lot of fun with your energy community in a little over a week at CABEC’s 2020 “Solving the Energy Puzzle” Conference!

If you have any questions please let us know.

Stay Healthy,
Linda Pierce
