CABEC Conference 2020: Solving the Energy Puzzle
The Energy Code, Title 24 Part 6, has evolved to become one of most prominent requirements impacting a buildings design. Given the convoluted and stringency of the building energy efficiency standards, the CABEC conference stands to support those providing energy code compliance services to help their clients meet compliance.
The CABEC conference is focused on integration of the difference pieces of building science, bringing together both conventional and modern design and technology that is involved with building energy modeling for compliance and beyond.
California is aggressively tackling Climate Action and reducing greenhouse gas emissions with transformative policy. Buildings account for 11% of GHG emissions of which the California Energy Commission has developed stringent energy code mandates to help significantly reduce emissions from New Construction developments. The Building Energy Efficiency standards will help move the state to cleaner, affordable and less impactful buildings.
