- Take and pass Residential and/or Nonresidential 2019 Standards Multiple Choice-only Exam
- Take and Log 9 hours of CEUs for Title 24 Residential / Nonresidential Education
- Fill out both 2016 Direct Experience Tally Sheet and 2016 Direct Experience Verification Form, get them signed off, and upload them to your CEA profile or send as attachments to [email protected].

- Take and pass 2019 Standards ACM (modeling)-only CEA Exam

- Fill out both 2016 Direct Experience Tally Sheet and 2016 Direct Experience Verification Form, get them signed off, and upload them to your CEA profile or send as attachments to [email protected].

Even though you still qualify for the quicker, cheaper Re-Certification Exams for the 2019 Standards, make sure you’ve completed the non-exam requirements for the 2016 Standards CEA as soon as possible!

- Fill out both 2013 Standards Direct Experience Tally Sheet and Direct Experience Verification Form, get them signed off, and upload them to your CEA profile or send as attachments to [email protected].

- Read and sign a paper-copy CEA Compliance Agreement (this happens during every CEA exam).
- Take and Log 9 hours of CEUs for Title 24 Residential / Nonresidential Education for each year after being certified
- Pay Yearly Maintenance Fees in each subsequent year AFTER certification (i.e. 2016-Code CEAs achieved in 2018 would first pay Maintenance Fees in 2019)
