      Cabec folks,
I’m modeling an existing residential project (1 story) that’s being taken down to the studs and re-built all-electric. The floor area is split between uninsulated slab (50% and uninsulated raised floor w/ crawlspace.
      Questions:
      1. If the Owner cannot afford the extra insulation to match mandatory R-19 raised floor requirement (2016 Res Standards), what can we do to pass code?
-Is there an exception for this type of renovation?

      2. Should we model as existing + A+ A or as New Construction and model the floor without R-19?

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂
      Jenna
