At CABEC, our goal is to support professionals like you, but your participation is also vital to that work! We welcome you to nominate yourself or someone that you feel could play a key role in our non-profit Association and in our industry!
Elections for the 2019-2021 CABEC Board of Directors are coming up, and there are four positions on the Board that will be filled in this election!
Whether you are currently a CABEC Member or not, now is the time for you or someone you know to become more involved with CABEC and our industry — although one must be a CABEC Member to serve on its Board, you don’t have to be a Member to make a nomination, and they don’t have to be a Member (yet) to be nominated!
TO MAKE A NOMINATION:
1. Click below to submit one or more nominations on CABEC’s website.
2. Every candidate must submit a brief statement of qualifications, experience, reasons why he/she wishes to serve, and an outline of any work (paid or unpaid), which may pose a conflict of interest.
Nomination Period: Wednesday, 11/28/18 through Friday, 12/14/18
Collection of Statements of Qualification: Wednesday, 11/28/18 through Monday, 12/17/18
Ballots Available: Monday, 12/17/18
Election Closes: Monday, 12/31/18
Announcement of Results: Week of 1/1/2019
Those who are elected by a majority vote of the CABEC Membership will serve as CABEC Board Members for a three year term, with monthly Board Meetings by telephone conference, except for approximately 2 in-person Board Meetings per year. They will also be involved in sub-committees that meet at least once a month.
